'Enjoyed the hospitality.
Very friendly welcome, couldn't fault anything. Thank you.'
We are peacefully situated on the outskirts of Llanfachraeth village on the west coast of the Island of Anglesey, where there is a local pub, a grocery shop with post office within and is 1.5 miles to the nearest beach.
Those who have never visited the Island of Anglesey, have a treat in store
"Mon Mam Cymru" The Mother of Wales as it's known offers an impressive
variety of landscapes and wildlife, history and heritage. Connected to the
mainland of Wales via two famous bridges over the scenic Menai Strait. It
is an unspoilt island. The majority of the coastline has been designated
as an area of outstanding Natural Beauty. Anglesey's cliffs, quiet coves
and wide open wetland areas make it a bird watchers paradise. Whatever
type of beach you prefer there is an ideal place for you along our long
and varied coastline from sweeping sandy beaches to more intimate coves.
There are several good eating places within a short drive. One being the
well known lobster and seafood restaurant, The Lobster Pot. Within two
miles we have Llynnon mill, the only working windmill in Wales where there
is a craft centre and tea room.
